Aunque es un hecho poco conocido fuera de los círculos profesionales, Yamaha estuvo muchos años fabricando boquillas especialmente personalizadas para cientos de los principales músicos del mundo en nuestros talleres de Investigación y Desarrollo (R&D). Siempre eran artistas que no estaban satisfechos con ninguno de los modelos comerciales del mercado. Venían a nosotros porque tenían la confianza de que si había alguien con los conocimientos y la experiencia suficientes como para diseñar y fabricar la boquilla de sus sueños, ese ""alguien"" era Yamaha. Cada uno de estos músicos sabía exactamente, por la experiencia acumulada a lo largo de sus dilatadas carreras, el tipo de sonido y de respuesta que querían, y nuestros técnicos a su vez sabían, gracias a su experiencia y conocimientos en la fabricación de instrumentos, cómo conseguir lo que buscaban. Y cada vez había más colegas y alumnos de estos músicos de primera línea que nos pedían copias de estas boquillas, por lo que tomamos la decisión de seleccionar un buen número de ellas y ofrecerlas dentro de la serie Signature. Y gracias a esa decisión, otros pueden disfrutar de los resultados de la colaboración y el esfuerzo conjunto de artistas y artesanos.
Neo Series (Small Shank, Middle Shank) <NEW>
Yamaha has created this new Neo™ Mouthpieces primarily for use in British brass bands. A newly developed Neo™ Specialized Heat Treatment (NSHT) that enhances tonal depth and warmth has been applied to ensure spectacular brass instrument sound and expression. Neo Series
Middle Shank
Most cornets used in British brass bands are “short cornets” rather than “long cornets” that have fewer bends and are closer to a trumpet in form. The mouthpieces used with these instruments have different shank types.
The newly designed Neo cornet mouthpiece has an M shank designed specifically for use with Bb (short) cornets, providing ideal resistance and playability for British brass band performance situations.
