Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Percussion Section

The Orchestra plays for nearly all performances given by The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet on the main stage of the Royal Opera House, under Music Directors Antonio Pappano (The Royal Opera) and Koen Kessels (The Royal Ballet).

Joerg Fabig was born in Frankfurt/Main on 13th of April 1972. After school he started his studies of mathematics and physics at the University of Frankfurt/Main.

Neil Percy

Neil Percy is the principal percussionist with the London Symphony Orchestra. With a passion for music education, he is also head of Timpani and Percussion at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Beyond repetitive afro-trance-percussion and incorporating a wide array of styles, this quartet (Jan- Frederick Behrend Wolfgang Rummel, Andrej Kauffmann, Stephan Krause) crosses through classical repertoire, new music, rock, jazz and drum’n’bass.
