Con un tamaño más compacto, el modelo SE 122 está equipado de los mismos componentes europeos de gama alta que el SE 132 como son los bordones, macillos, y la madera de la tabla armónica. Es de destacar que la longitud de las teclas del SE 122 es la misma que las del SE 132, mayor que la de otros pianos de similar tamaño, y por lo tanto posee un extraordinario control de la pulsación.
