Statement about your relation with Yamaha or your instrument:

My Yamaha Saxophone allows me to be an expressive performer. It's my communication tool with my audience so it's a very important part of my life.

How does your instrument help you in your daily life as an artist?

My sax is super reliable which is very important as a gigging musician. Every time I pick it up to perform, I can rely on it to work perfectly which allows me as a musician to take musical and performing risks, which makes my job more fun and exciting.

How would you characterise your instrument?

Bright and fun. Super reliable with a bright but full tone. I love it.

Who was your most influential teacher and is there any advice which you still follow?

Rob Buckland at RNCM. I use the technique I learned from him every day of my life as a performer and player.

Advice for a young musician:

Do what you love. Make music you love and perform the music you love. It comes across in your performance and makes you a happier person!
